MEERUT: According to Sanjay Nishad, the president of the Nishad party in Uttar Pradesh, “Mosques near temples must be removed voluntarily…”
Additionally, he stated that “Madrasas teach fanaticism… There are links between these institutions and terrorists.” The comment was made in response to the ongoing statewide survey of madrasas.
On Wednesday, the minister visited Baghpat and stated, “The survey aims to modernize madrassas so that children can study modern subjects and become doctors, engineers, and IAS officers. Therefore, clerics should support the survey.“
“Leaders will educate their children in convents, while poor Muslims will be given only religious education,” the cabinet minister said later that day in Meerut, appealing to Muslims to join the government’s “nation-building effort.” Children from low-income families have the right to study science, Indian culture, and nationalism.”
According to Nishad, the maulanas made the Muslims poor, and the opposition parties spread a religious frenzy in the country.
